Fair Lending and CRA Officer
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for administering the Bank's comprehensive CRA and Fair Lending
Regulatory Compliance Programs, which are designed to ensure that the Bank and its
subsidiaries achieve optimum compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Develops and manages all aspects of the organization's Fair Lending and CRA
programs.
- Interfaces with regulatory agencies, internal audit and other supervisory entities.
Supports the Chief Compliance Office in preparation for, participation in, and response
to examinations and audits.
- Supports business units in researching legal and regulatory issues related to fair lending,
CRA, and related laws and regulations.
- Manages the development of the organization's fair lending and CRA compliance
procedures, forms, and monitoring systems.
- Serves as a subject matter expert to provide compliance advice and guidance to
business areas addressing unique or new compliance questions, development of new
products and/or delivery systems or modifying existing ones and identifying any
compliance related issues and/or new compliance requirements.
- Develops process and assembles resources necessary to continuously identify and
remain current with all compliance requirements of the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Maintains current working knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements,
including banking, consumer/commercial credit regulations.
- Performs analysis of fair lending and CRA data and metrics for interpretation and

- Manages, develops, and motivates Fair Lending and CRA Team personnel. Establishes
performance goals and objectives; conducts departmental meetings in order to review
annual compliance plan; assigns tasks; monitors employee progress on specified
projects; executes process and talent assessments.
SENIOR LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists Chief Compliance Officer to ensure that senior management is continuously
informed of all aspects of the organization's fair lending and CRA compliance activities,
including an evaluation of its relative risk exposure related to compliance.
- Assists with the preparation of management and committee reporting.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the Fair Lending, CRA, and HMDA Analyst(s)
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation preferred
- College degree required; law degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience in banking and regulatory compliance
- Minimum 5 years experience in CRA and Fair Lending compliance
- Minimum 5 years management experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
