JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Sr. Manager/Manager - Human Resources
Reports to: Vice President, Human Resources


Summary - The incumbent designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies for global human resources related duties in the areas of workforce planning; recruitment; employee engagement; recognition; talent development; and health and safety. This person is a key member of the HR team and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. She/he will represent HR across all areas of AeroTurbine and work with each Executive to develop HR plans for their respective areas. This person will work closely with our General Counsel to ensure all legal and compliance matters are managed appropriately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities are listed below, however; these essential duties and responsibilities are not intended to represent an exhaustive list and other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed in order to meet business needs.
Works with leaders/managers in developing talent management programs (tools/exercises) as well as workforce analysis planning to ensure proper talent needs are identified
Develops overall and career family specific recruiting strategies are developed
Develops tactical recruitment processes that are followed across all lines of the business, including career branding and advertisement placement
Develops and partners with leaders to expand our college recruitment and internship programs
Partners across business to develop employee engagement/recognition programs and implement to ensure all corporate goals are met
Organizes and conducts new employee orientation
Partners across the organization to develop and promote a culture of development, including training plans, needs assessments and training delivery
Partners with leaders in developing and promoting career development for business lines as well as an overall philosophy
Partners with leadership and external 3rd parties in updating and maintaining the employee handbook as well as all policy & procedures
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
Maintains compliance with all federal, state and local (global) regulations concerning employment
Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Bachelor's degree required, with minimum 7 years of demonstrated relevant human resources experience in a for profit business environment
Must have the ability to proactively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to work efficiently under stressful conditions
Proficient with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access. Knowledge of UltiPro software (payroll and HRIS)
Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize in a dynamic business environment
Available for travel

Work is normally performed in a typical fast paced office work enviro

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
