We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.
Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring a comfortable and efficient dental experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures - Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments and materials - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and trimming models - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Provide support to the front desk as needed, including dental receptionist duties
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required - Knowledge of dental anatomy, systems, and terminology - Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology is a plus - Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable - Proficiency in Eaglesoft or other dental practice management software is a plus - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry - Ability to take accurate vital signs We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
