We are looking to hire a bilingual (Spanish) legal assistant with experience handling first-party property damage claims and personal injury claims.
Applicants must have experience with calendaring and scheduling all hearings, depositions, mediations, etc.
If hired, the legal assistant will be responsible for maintaining the attorney's calendar, answering the phone, communicating with clients, opposing counsel, judicial assistants, etc.
The legal assistant must be able to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a legal assistant or similar role - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) - Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
This is a full-time position with regular office hours.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
