Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Bookkeeper/Office Manager and three Business Representatives, including correspondence, filing, and light bookkeeping.
-We provide assistance to a membership of 1200 current elevator mechanics and apprentices in the form of collecting union dues, invoicing, coordinating social events, and assisting in all queries pertaining to benefits and other issues as needed.
- Update member database in custom software (will be trained by the office manager).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role - Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Note:
