Summary:
Prepares ingredients and components to be used for meal preparation.
Detailed
Responsibilities:
o Performs washing, cutting, chopping, measuring of ingredients, and other tasks as requested by the Executive Chef.
o Utilizes a wide range of kitchen tools, equipment, and utensils.
o Adheres to all HACCP guidelines regarding the requisition, storage, handling and preparation of food as well as in the sanitation and maintenance of work area.
o Supports the production of meals for distribution to patients, the cafeteria, physicians and catering services.
