79 Information Security Analyst I Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for validating the effectiveness of the Credit Union's Information Security Risk Management Program, including maintaining a schedule of ongoing risk assessments, coordinating the outsourcing of risk assessment tasks, and maintaining detailed documents outlining the risk rank for significant departments, processes, and systems within the organization.
Assists in the development of security policies.
Provides information security guidance and expertise to internal personnel when new systems and procedures are being developed.
Performs vendor due diligence reviews including review of annual SOC 2 Type 2, business continuity plan, disaster recovery plan, contract review process, identifying and managing IT risk register, and ensuring compliance by third party providers.
Assists with the administration of the information security training programs for all employees including ongoing security awareness training.
Assures that all staff understands their responsibilities as they relate to information security and have the knowledge, skills, and motivation to fulfill those responsibilities.
Partner with Information Technology Resources from both the Network and Application Support areas to review external and internal vulnerability assessment testing and ensure the adequacy of documented security and administrative operating procedures for all critical systems.
Minimum
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years' experience in computer systems with a specialization in computer security is highly preferred.
Proficient with computer-related systems including firewalls, encryption, and password protection and authentication.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, or related field information systems is preferred.
InfoSec Certification preferred.
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Information Security Analyst I Hours Standard hours are Monday - Friday 8:
00 AM - 5:
00 PM.
Travels occasionally and works some weekend and after evening hours.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
