Summary:
Verify patient insurance, contact patients for availability, geographically map patient location and assign them to the appropriate Field Clinician while providing world-class customer service to our patients.
Duties:
Performs all duties as required in an accurate and timely manner.
Under the management of the VP PI, scheduling new Referrals (Fax and Phone) - Verify eligibility and authorization, CPT codes, and place of service.
Map patient locations and assign them to the correct Field Clinician.
Work closely with Field Clinicians via phone/email to ensure assigned patients are informed and updated promptly.
Arrange vacation coverage for patients.
Act as a liaison between the Field Clinician, PCP, Patient, and Health Plan rep and maintain thorough and accurate data entry notes on all communication.
Discharge Patients - In OS, send a discharge letter to the patient and inform the billing dept.
Comply with HIPAA regulations.
Communicates in a clear and understandable manner using appropriate verbal and non-verbal styles.
Attends required meetings and participates as a committee member as requested.
Assists with special projects as needed.
Maintains strict confidentiality.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and
Experience:
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment:
Office setting, varied schedules, 8am - 7 pm EST/PST.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
