Dallas, TX About the Program The Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits Next Gen Leadership Development Program (NGLP) is a two-year, rotational program sponsored by Terry Arnold, CHRO.
The program is designed to develop the future leaders of our organization.
As a Next Gen Leadership Development associate, you will gain broad experience through rotational assignments across multiple functions.
In addition, associates in the program benefit from intensive and ongoing training, leadership development, mentoring and networking opportunities--including presentations to some of our company's most senior executives.
A Next Gen Leadership Program Associate will grow capability in:
Project Management - Gain the processes, methods, skills, knowledge and experience necessary to deliver value to the organization.
Learn how to define a problem, scope a project, determine key deliverables and timing, identify challenges, anticipate outcomes, and deliver tangible business benefits.
Soft Skills - Develop essential traits in decision making, teamwork, critical thinking, dealing with ambiguity, and problem solving.
Leadership - Learn to communicate complex information, lead change and question the status quo, develop self and others, and manage teams.
Sample Rotations:
Corporate Strategy - Support the Office of Strategic Management (OSM) in the development of a Request for Proposal:
defining project scope and timeline, reviewing stakeholder requirements, conducting internal company research, assessing competitor offerings, and proposing cost and agreement details.
Human Resources - Support the Organizational Effectiveness team in consolidation of HR and talent systems so there is one system of record for HR and talent data, allowing SGWS to best manage all aspects of human capital through leading HR and talent technology to support the acquisition, onboarding, training and overall employee experience.
Sales - Grow your product knowledge, ability to build relationships and manage accounts with our Commercial teams.
Learn how to how to use Proof and understand our Sales Process along with how we use data & insights to generate revenue.
Operations - Evaluate operational aspects to identify & remove inefficiencies to drive growth including optimizing supplier network, cost control, forecasting demand, managing inventory, and effectively evaluating supplier relationships and risk.
Supplier Facing - Build critical client leadership skills and see SGWS through the client's eyes by working directly with a dedicated supplier to help them achieve maximum ROI by showcasing SGWS' value proposition that affects client outcomes.
Qualifications Must be a graduating senior (December 2022 or May 2023) Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred degrees include but are not limited to:
Business Administration/Management.
, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar field No more than two years professional working experience Demonstrated leadership in school or work and proven track record of delivering results Willingness to relocate to Miramar, FL or Dallas, TX Must be 21 years old or older at the start of the program Profile Strong project management skills and business acumen Drive to innovate & encourage others to innovate Curiosity about how things work; interest in how your work impacts the organization or clients Enthusiasm for streamlining processes Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a global, virtual team Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills Initiative, creativity, and passion to deliver results that affect our clients.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
